New release: ZEUS v0.9.5

This release features the ability to easily export ZEUS's on-chain seed to other wallets such as Sparrow, and other minor improvements that pave the way for our next major release.

We're proud to announce the wide availability of ZEUS v0.9.5, including on the Apple App Store, and Google Play.

This release features the ability to easily export ZEUS's on-chain seed to other wallets such as Sparrow, and other minor improvements that pave the way for our next major release.

Easily export ZEUS's on-chain seed

We previously provided users guidance on how to export their ZEUS wallet on-chain seed to other wallets, but now we've made the process even easier.

From the Back up wallet view, you can now hit the QR code icon in the top right corner, to easily generate ypriv and zpriv HD seeds that can be imported in a plethora of different wallets, including Sparrow.

Minor improvements and optimizations

Activity list optimizations

Have a node with thousands of transactions and had issues with the Activity list taking forever to load in the past? This update's for you: we've made some major optimizations to this view so you should be able to load your history faster than ever before.

Better highlighting of the active wallet

The Wallets list view now has better highlighting of the active wallet, so you don't have to strain to figure out which one you currently are using.

Smart automatic enabling of routing hints

Have a node that exclusively has unannounced channels? ZEUS will now automatically enable routing hints so that you can ensure that you can always smoothly receive your payments without fiddling with settings.

Next up

ZEUS v0.10.0 will be made available soon for alpha testers who want to help us test our new channel renewal service and functionality. Keep your eyes peeled - it should be dropping sooner than you expect!

Other updates

The ZEUS LSP had another record month in January, and by a great margin (both in Bitcoin and fiat terms). We're grateful for all the support from our users and customers and are eager to continue serving you and to get new services and functionality into your hands.
